Following are some ways to get to this destination: Bus: Bus is the cheapest way to get to the Nagarkot from Kathmandu. For that, you will need to catch a bus from Bhaktapur Bus Stop in Kathmandu and it is situated in east of Ratna Park. The 40 to 50 minutes trip along the Araniko highway will cost around NPR 25. You will have to get off the bus at Kamalbinayak of Bhaktapur. Then catch another bus to Nagarkot located at the edge of Kamalbinayak Pokhari. This one and half hour of ride from Kamal Binayak Pokhari will lead you to Nagarkot for the price of NPR 45. Although the sighseeings from bus could be a great choice but keep in mind that the buses are very overcrowded. So, prepare to be a little squeezed although, people are generous enough to help you get a seat. If you are going to Nagarkot directly from the international airport then we reccommend you to hire a taxi which will cost around NPR 1,500 only. It shall take you around 40 mins to get to ur destination through the popular city of Bhaktapur and green beautiful sights. Your another choice can be taking a bus from Tourist Bus Park in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur. Cost for your short journey should be NPR 400 or just around or we can book ticket for these buses too. 2.Kathmandu- Nagarkot Trekking Trekking is what Nepal has always been renowned throughout the world for. You can participate in Kathmandu to Nagarkot trekking which is short yet the roads surrounded by green lust of pine trees and thickly forested hills are very soothing to experience.
